ABOUT ME:
As a Hypnotherapist, my purpose is to renew and nourish people’s faith in themselves so that they can better achieve their goals. Anyone is capable of greatness! I assist people in moving forward towards achievement.

I am very happily married to my husband Mike and we have a 19yr old Daughter named Kaylia. I was born in Edmonton, Alberta Canada in 1972. My mom and dad divorced when I was six. When I was 11yrs, my mom re-married and moved us to Mission Viejo, California. I met my husband when I was 17yrs old. We got married when I was 19! In 2000 my father passed away due to suicide. It was a very devastating time in my life. I was 28 at the time. My dad was struggling with Alcoholism and wasn’t going to live much longer at the rate he was going. At the time I lost my father, I remember saying at his funeral, “I don’t know why we have to go through things like this, but I know there is a reason.” I believe now, looking back at that time in my life, that if I had not gone through that, I wouldn’t be a Hypnotherapist today. It was EFT & Hypnosis that got me through the grief, sadness, anger, and all those negative emotions.

One evening when I had just about had a nervous breakdown, I came across EFT. If you haven’t heard of it before, you can go to www.emofree.com to learn more and download a free manual. Anyways, it was EFT that started me on this wonderful journey of healing and wanting to help others. I found EFT the evening before I had a doctor’s appointment for Anxiety and Panic Attacks. I did EFT and the next day I went to the doctor. I felt better and didn’t fill my prescription for the Paxil the Doctor had given me. I continued to use EFT and decided I wanted to share it with everyone and become a practitioner. My family thought I was nuts. I went from owning a clothing company to thinking I can heal people?? My thoughts were that if this worked for me, it would work for others. I decided to do case studies for one year to see if people got the wonderful results I thought they would. And they did! Kids were overcoming fears, adults were astonished at how much better they felt. I never charged for the sessions. I really needed to do this for myself and it felt good to do it for free. I also found that by working with others, I was healing myself. It was great.

After about a year of doing EFT I became certified and started charging. It was at this time that I noticed that most EFT Practitioners were Hypnotherapists as well. It got me really curious about Hypnosis. I had seen stage shows before, but how could Hypnosis help heal? I began to really look into it and decided that from what I could tell, in my opinion, EFT is waking hypnosis. People would get glazed eyes when working with me and I was putting them into trance! I new at that time that I wanted to become certified in Hypnotherapy because it just seemed to be such a good fit to what I was already doing. I took some courses and “I” decided to be Hypnotized to stop smoking. If it worked, then I wanted to share it with everyone! Well it did. Actually it has changed my life.

I realize now, that had I not have gone through the experience of my dad’s suicide, I wouldn’t be doing this today. I believe that everything happens for a reason.
