Consider this, in January 1968 an article appeared in “The American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis” entitled “The use of Hypnosis and 1,000 cases of Tobacco maniacs!” The article detailed the results of a clinical study carried out on 1,000 smokers who were all given a session of Hypnosis to help them stop smoking and the results were amazing. All 1,000 people treated with Hypnosis to permanently remove their smoking habit were contacted again on a regular basis for the next 18 months and it was found that 94% of these people had remained non-smokers throughout this 18 month period thanks to the power of Hypnosis! First, we talk initially on the phone for a few minutes so I can get your basic information and help you decide if you are ready. I then take that information and arrange a time to meet with you. You will have 3 sessions. I will record each of your sessions and send it to you via e-mail. You will then be able to download the MP3 to your phone or your personal computer. It is very important that you listen to your recording daily. You can listen to it in the daytime or every night just before bedtime. Listen for 30 days or until you no longer need it.

YOUR SESSION FOR BECOMING A NON-SMOKER

When you come in to my office, I first do a thorough evaluation to determine the appropriate approach that will meet your particular, individual needs. In this way, I can gear the hypnosis to meet your every need AND concerns. Then, I get your permission to use Hypnosis & to record your session. I will begin with asking you to relax your body & close your eyes. I do not wave a watch in front of your face like you may have seen on TV.

Being in a state of trance means that you feel very deeply relaxed, but you always remain aware of everything that is going on. Most of the people that experience a session do not want to get out of my chair!

The Subconscious part of the mind controls all of our habits. With your permission, Hypnosis opens the doorway to the Subconscious so that it can be provided with the right information to re-program your subconscious beliefs and feelings about the smoking habit.

So…You walk out of the office after the session as a non-smoker. I ask that you bring with you to your visit ALL of your cigarettes. We get rid of them together in the office. This is to prevent you from having any cigarettes or smoking paraphernalia around you that you could use as a crutch or to test yourself with after you have become a nonsmoker.

I will give you a 1.5hr session for quitting the habit for good. We will address every concern that you have in the one session. I will record your session and provide you with a recording of your session via text or email. It is very similar to the three session program, only you don’t have the weekly support of meeting with me. But you do have your recording for reinforcement and that is the key to your success. I ask that you listen to your recording every night before going to bed. This retrains your mind and helps you to stay in control as a non-smoker. Every day will get easier than the next. A habit that is not fed is soon gone!
