Psychology teaches us that actions follow our thoughts and images. This means that our mind does not know the difference between real or pretend. It only knows what you feel and visualize and then gives you more of that. So, let’s say you play a sport and you tell yourself. “Don’t do this or Don’t do that” but you are looking at that in which you DON” T want to do and you are feeling that you DON’T want to do it but the Law of Dominant Thought says your mind is going to remember the most dominant thought! For instance, if you are a Tennis Player and you say to yourself “Don’t hit the net” you have just suggested to your mind to hit the ball in the net! Think about the net, look at the net, and the net is what you will get. Rather than say “Don’t hit the net,” tell yourself something like “I hit the ball to the lower left corner, easily.” Remember, tell your mind what to do, not what NOT to do. The mind works most effectively when you are telling it what to do instead of what not to do. Have you ever noticed when we tell a child not to do something, they usually do it anyway? We can say, “Don’t touch that, it’s hot!” and nine times out of ten, they will touch it anyways. This is more than likely because we have said it with such emotion and that child felt that emotion and then pictured it happening. Sometimes it happens so fast the child looks at you like, “Why did I do that?” Our mind responds to the pictures we give it.  As you can tell from this example, it responds quickly, without judgment. Let’s say you are going through a difficult time in your life. If you are feeling down on yourself, calling yourself names or telling yourself you are not worthy of all the good things in life, you will only get more of what you don’t want. You are actually programming yourself to feel bad. It is very important, during difficult times in your life, to remain positive and visualize the best outcome for you. People in our lives can negatively hypnotize us. If you had a parent that told you that you would never amount to anything or that you were no good. Today I was having a conversation with one of my best friends and we were talking about weight gain and loving ourselves regardless. Her and I are Soul Sisters and we know the importance of loving ourselves even though it is not always easy to do. I was saying that I find it quite impressive when some of the women and young ladies I know that are overweight absolutely love themselves no matter what! But then we got onto the conversation of knowing these women want to make changes in their bodies, but is their subconscious hearing “I love myself” so much that it won’t make the changes that are needed??? So, later on I get a text from my friend and it says “Love yourself the way it is, but visualize what you want your body to look like in the future and thank the universe for the way you want it!!” I think this is perfect and a great way to communicate with our subconscious mind. I can’t begin to tell you how important it is to incorporate visualization along with your positive self talk. Several years ago, this same best friend of mine was struggling with being called skinny all her life and wanted to make a change in her body. She wanted bigger breasts and wanted to add about 10lbs of weight. She came to Sedona with me and she got Hypnosis to gain weight and have bigger breasts. This was the first time I had ever heard of someone wanting to gain weight…LOL!  Well guess what? It worked and she gained the weight and has really big boobs now! Hahaha I am serious. When I asked her what she was doing, she said she would visualize herself daily having larger breasts and it was working. She would thank the Universe for it and would let it go, knowing in her mind it would happen. Well, when my daughter and I saw her transformation we couldn’t believe our eyes. She went from a very, very small A cup to a C cup and it was all naturally done! She was the perfect weight and she had done it all through the power of her mind. No surgery for this girl!  She believed it would work and it did! The reason I am writing this today is because I know that visualization is powerful and I also know that gratitude is the key to your success. Feeling Trapped or Alone?

Many times in life we feel trapped or alone. It is as if nothing is going our way. Perhaps you constantly think you just can’t get a break. Maybe you even catch yourself saying, “Why me?” Today I want to talk about peace of mind and how it has to come from you and only you. You are the only person holding you back. That’s right. I said it. When you realize that you have a choice in the way that you feel, peace will follow. It just will. Think about this, even prisoners are free to choose their own thoughts, regardless of their situation. They still have a choice when it comes to their feelings. If you are feeling trapped, I want you to repeat to yourself “I am bigger than this. I am stronger than this. There is an innate wisdom inside of me that helps me to overcome this.” Whether you believe it or not, you are a magnet when it comes to your thoughts. Have you ever heard that saying, “What you think about, you bring about?” This is so true. Whether you are thinking positive thoughts or negative thoughts, your Subconscious Mind doesn’t know the difference! It just gives you more of what you FEEL & VISUALIZE. It is that simple my friend. So when you are thinking that things will never get better, well guess what? They won’t. You are energy and you are attracting the very things you don’t want. You must realize this in order to take that next step in getting your power back. No matter how much you have studied this. No matter how educated you are, you must use the tools that you have been taught. This has to be applied. And this must be a daily routine. And if you think about it, you are very good at thinking about what could go wrong. Why not change the way you think?! A way to help you with this is Meditation or Hypnosis. They really are the same. You allow yourself to get into a relaxed state. Focusing on breathing The goal is to get in contact with the All Knowing Universal Mind. Call it whatever you want. The mind of God. It really doesn’t matter what you call it. It is within each and every one of us.
